J. Roger Davis Named Viztek CEO.
Industry Veteran Takes the Helm of Rapidly Growing Healthcare IT Firm
J. Roger Davis has been named chief executive officer for Viztek Imaging, the Jacksonville-based medical software company. In his new position, Davis will build internal operations to support Viztek's rapidly accelerating growth as it expands sales and marketing efforts and moves into new medical specialties and product categories.
Davis has a strong and diverse background in healthcare, including leadership positions in healthcare IT product development and sales as well as physician and hospital management. He brings to the position over 25 years of related experience.
Most recently, J. Roger Davis was a vice president for GE Healthcare/IDX Systems Corporation where he was responsible for the expansion of the IDX consulting practices and its entry into healthcare business processing outsourcing. Prior to this, he was an executive vice president at Xtria Healthcare responsible for the development of this healthcare business unit of Xanser (NYSE XNR). Over the years he also has held positions as a chief business officer for a public health system, surgical department administrator and compliance officer.

J. Roger Davis holds a B.A. in accounting and business management from the University of Texas, San Antonio.
As president, Cermin will continue to focus on product development and lead sales and marketing efforts for both the full line of PACS, RIS and other software products as well as distribution of computerized radiography (CR) solutions.
